Denmark is a small country, so you may think there aren’t that much differences…. WRONG!
I was especially surprised to see the size difference of trains.
But it seems like Copenhagen (*S-trains) are wider than Aarhus (*ARIVA )… Does S-trains only run within Copenhagen?? Doesn’t it connect all the way to Aarhus? I am confused. 🥴
In Japan, all the train sizes are the same, (I think…am I right???) doesn’t matter if its local or national. (I think…??)
If you are curious, the differences between Tokyo / Osaka
- people stand right side on escalator @ Osaka, but left @ Tokyo.
- McDonald’s nickname – Makudo @ Osaka, Makku @Tokyo.
- Train station. People don’t make a line @ Osaka, They make a line @Tokyo.
